UPSC NDA, NA notification 2021 released, application process begins at upsc.gov.in – education
UPSC NDA, AND notification 2021: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) published the official notification on Wednesday and invited online applications for the National Defense Academy and Naval Academy Exam (I) 2021 on its official website.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply for exams online at upsconline.nic.in on or before January 19, 2021 until 6 p.m. Online applications can be withdrawn from January 27 to February 2, 2021 until 6 pm.
The commission will conduct the examination on April 18, 2021 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for Course 147 and for Course 109 of the Indian Naval Academy (INAC) as of January 2, 2022.
Vacancy details:
National Defense Academy — 370 to include 208 for the Army, 42 for the Navy, and 120 for the Air Force (including 28 for ground duty)
Naval Academy (10 + 2 cadet entry scheme) – 30
Total — 400
Educational qualification:
1. Army Wing of the National Defense Academy: Approval of class 12 of the 10 + 2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Board of Education or a University.
2. Air Force Academy and Naval Wings of National Defense and for the 10 + 2 Cadet Entrance Program at the Indian Naval Academy: Pass 12th class of 10 + 2 pattern of school education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Board of Education or a University. Candidates taking class 12 under the 10 + 2 School Education pattern or an equivalent exam can also apply for this exam. Candidates appearing on the class 11 exam are not eligible for this exam.
Exam pattern:
Math — 150 minutes – 300 points
General Skill Test — 150 minutes – 600 points
Total — 900
SSB Test / Interview — 900
