PM to attend Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University’s 8th convocation today – education
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the eighth convocation of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU), Gandhinagar, at 11 am Saturday via video conference.
During the call, the Prime Minister will lay the first stone of a ’45 MW Monocrystalline Solar Photovoltaic Panel Production Plant’ and ‘Center of Excellence in Water Technology’ at the university, and will inaugurate the ‘Center for Innovation and Incubation – Technology Business Incubation ‘,’ Translational Research Center ‘and’ Sports Complex ‘.
At 11 am tomorrow, November 21, I would address the PDPU Convocation, Gandhinagar. It will also inaugurate several Centers that would drive research, innovation and learning in PDPU, ”said PM Modi in a tweet on Friday.
According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, around 2,600 students would obtain their respective degree / diploma in this call.
Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) was established as a private university through State Law enacted on April 4, 2007 and offers programs in the domains of Science, Technology, Management and Humanities.
