Odisha not to conduct undergraduate, PG exams at present due to Covid-19 – education

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Odisha government decided on Monday not to conduct exams for undergraduate and graduate students in the state.

According to the official letter from the Odisha Ministry of Education to the rectors and directors of various universities, “Due to the prevailing dislocation related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the academic session has been greatly affected. Although online teaching continues, most students are unable to reap the benefits of such online teaching due to various reasons. Therefore, at present, it is not desirable to take exams based solely on online teaching ”.

Taking the exam should be considered only after the resumption of the physical mode of teaching and the completion of the study program, the ministry said in a letter to the rectors of all state public universities and the directors of all governmental and non-governmental universities. They belong to the higher category. Education deparment.

On Dec. 7, Odisha reported 368 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the number of cases in the state to 3,21,564, the state’s Department of Information and Public Relations reported Monday.
