NVS Admissions 2021: Application process begins for class 9 lateral entry, check details here – education

NVS Class 9 2021 Admissions: Online application process for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Class 9 Side Entry Admissions against vacant seats for session 2021-22 has started. The last date to apply is December 15. Applicants can apply online for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2021 at navodaya.gov.in or www.nvsadmissionclassnine.in.

The JNV selection test for admission to Class 9 will be held on Saturday February 13, 2021 at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya of the district in question / any other center assigned by NVS.

Eligibility:

Candidates who are studying Class 8 during the 2020-21 Academic Session.

The candidate who takes the admission test must qualify / pass Class 8 in the 2020-21 academic session

The candidate requesting admission must have been born between 05.01.2005 and 04.30.2009 (both days inclusive)

JNVST Ninth Class Exam Pattern:

The selection test will consist of questions from the subjects of Mathematics, General Sciences, English and Hindi. The difficulty level of the test paper will be Class 8. The questions in the English and Hindi sections will have 15 points each and Math and Science will have 35 points each, for a total of 100 points. The test will be of an objective type with a duration of 2 and a half hours without interruption.

Education at JNV is free, including food and accommodation, uniform and textbooks, a sum of Rs. 600 / – per month is collected only from students in Classes IX to XII towards Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi. However, students belonging to the SC / ST categories, all girls, and students whose household income is below the poverty line (BPL) are exempt. Regarding the wards of government employees other than the exempt category (students in classes VI to VIII, all SC / ST and Girl students and pupils from BPL families), Vikas Nidhi will be charged 1500 rupees / – per month or actual educational allowance for children received by parents per month, whichever is less. However, VVN will not be less than Rs 600 / – per student per month.
