Medical, paramedical colleges to reopen from December 1 in Karnataka: Minister – education
The medical and paramedical faculties affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (ARGUHS) will resume regular classes from December 1, Karnataka Health Minister Dr. K Sudhakar said on Friday.
Universities were closed since the end of March due to the coronavirus scare.
The minister tweeted: “The Karnataka government has decided to reopen all medical, dental, AYUSH, paramedic, nursing and pharmacy faculties affiliated with RGUHS as of December 1.” He called on the administration of schools and students to strictly adhere to the guidelines issued by the government on precautionary measures.
The Department of Higher Education has also decided to start undergraduate universities as of November 17.
