Lok Sabha was suspended for the day as opposition members continued their protest over rising gasoline costs on Monday. When the Home met once more at 7 pm after a suspension, the President allowed the difficulty of girls’s empowerment to be debated on the event of Worldwide Ladies’s Day.
The dialogue continued for about 20 minutes amid continued protests from opposition members.
Rama Devi of the BJP, who was within the presidency, appealed to members protesting a number of occasions to let the Chamber work so that girls members might increase their points on Worldwide Ladies’s Day.
Nevertheless, the Opposition didn’t give in, which led the presidency to adjourn the Home session for the day of the assembly on Tuesday at 11 am.
