John Abraham, Madhuri Dixit, Sunny Leone be part of PETA 20th anniversary celebration

Bollywood stars John Abraham, Madhuri Dixit, Shilpa Shetty and Sunny Leone joined Individuals for the Moral Remedy of Animals (PETA) India for its 20th anniversary. A digital get together was organized and awards got to those that have been championing animal rights.  “Blissful anniversary to PETA India, an organisation that I’ve wholeheartedly supported for the longest time now,” mentioned  Shilpa in a video, during which she talks about how the organisation requested “folks to boycott merciless animal circuses and even urging officers to uphold the ban on bulls in performances”.

John has helped PETA India get an e-commerce portal to cease the commerce of reside animals on its platform. 

He mentioned: “I need to congratulate PETA India on getting Quikr to discontinue the buying and selling of reside canines. Congratulations Quikr, and thanks for doing this. Madhuri recalled becoming a member of the organisation just a few years in the past to assist elephants.

“From there on it was the start of an attractive friendship. Two years in the past, my household adopted Carmelo, a cherished canine, from PETA India. Since then, I urge everybody I see to undertake a canine or a cat from the shelter or from the road,” she mentioned.

 

Sunny, an energetic supporter of the organisation, mentioned: “(D)onate every part you may. Even when it is somewhat bit, it should make an enormous distinction.”

 

Animal rescuer Aditi Parameshwaran, who has saved the lives of over 100 animals round Mumbai, was feted with an Excellent Service to Animals Award. Vegan meals firm EVO Meals bagged the award for Greatest Innovation in Meals Award.
