India’s industrial manufacturing grew by 1 per cent in December, official knowledge confirmed on Friday.
In response to the Index of Industrial Manufacturing (IIP) knowledge, the manufacturing sector output grew by 1.6 per cent in December 2020.
Mining output declined by 4.eight per cent, whereas energy technology grew 5.1 per cent in December 2020.
The IIP had grown by 0.Four per cent in December 2019.
Industrial manufacturing has been hit as a result of Covid-19 pandemic since March final 12 months when IIP contracted by 18.7 per cent within the month.
