Indian financial system is witnessing a V-shaped restoration after challenges posed by Covid-19 pandemic, minister of state for finance Anurag Thakur stated on Saturday.

Interacting with the media right here, Thakur stated India and different nations confronted financial slowdown because of lockdown and different measures taken to comprise the unfold of the pandemic.

“However India stood robust. The financial system is witnessing a V-shaped restoration,” he stated.

He stated the union price range offered earlier this month will beef up varied sectors.

“The current price range has no new taxes on the folks of this nation,” he stated, including that Modi Authorities “is development- pushed”.

The minister stated that the revised estimates (RE) 2020-21 for expenditure is 34.50 lakh crore as towards budgetary estimates (BE) 2020-21 of 30.42 lakh crore.

He stated the price range for 2021-22 could be very clear and goals for the general improvement of the nation.
