Congress will organize a convention for minorities in West Bengal on December 23.
The convention will be organized at the Ramlila field in Kolkata. The event will be attended by senior party leaders in the state and Bengal’s head of Congress, Jitin Prasad. In addition to him, several high-ranking leaders from the minority community are also likely to attend the convention to be organized by the minority department of the Congress Party.

At a time when AIMIM has emerged as a great challenge to govern TMC in the state of West Bengal, as well as to the Congress party, which will fight in the next assembly elections alongside the left-wing parties in the state, this seems to be an attempt. to woo minority voters who gradually drift away from the old big party.

However, Nadeem Javed, from the minority cell in Congress, said that the entry of Asaduddin Owaisi’s AIMIM will have little impact in Bengal. Javed described the Owaisi match as the ‘BJP team B’.
“Owaisi is a BJP team and only cuts the minority votes to help them,” Javed told India TV.
