CDS results 2019: Odisha born Aditi Parida tops exam – education
Odisha-born Aditi Parida spearheaded the 2019 Combined Defense Services (CDS) II Exam (Women), the results of which were recently released, official sources said.
The list of merits with a total of 241 candidates includes 174 candidates who passed the Chennai Officer Training Academy exams for the Short Service Commission (NT) course (for men) and 67 candidates who passed the examinations for Officer Training Academy, Chennai, Short Service Women Commission Course (Non-Technical).
Aditi is the first woman from Odisha to head the CDS exam and selected for Army Officer training.
Aditi finished her graduation in mass communication from Symbiosis College, Pune this summer and is also the best of her lot 2017-2020.
Combining intelligence, courage and elegance, the girl is also a good classical dancer having performed on stages in both Odissi and Bharatanatyam.
Aditi, the daughter of a brigadier in the Indian Army, also has the merit of being the champion of the national debate between the Army Schools in 2016.
She is a very good volleyball player having represented her university, sources said.
When contacted, Aditi (20) said: “I was motivated to join the Indian army since my childhood. I was born and raised in a military environment, since my father is a brigadier.
Serving Mother India is the dream of my life ”. Aditi’s mother, Sujata Parida, who hailed from Nadhara village in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district, said: “My daughter is trained in all aspects of life. She is a good speaker, a topper in studies, a classical dance performer, a good athlete and above all a person who loves her country. I am proud of her “.
