The practical exams will take place from March 1. The results of the board’s exams will be released before July 15, he added.
Typically, practical exams take place in January and written exams begin in February and end in March. However, exams are being delayed this session in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Board exams for classes 10 and 12 will be held from May 4 to June 10. Schools will be able to take practical exams from March 1. The date sheet for both classes will be due soon. The results will be announced before July 15, ”Pokhriyal announced.
Several schools have already conducted pre-board exams online to keep students prepared.
The CBSE had announced earlier this month that the board exams in 2021 will be conducted in written mode and not online.
Schools across the country were closed in March to contain the spread of COVID-19. They were partially reopened in some states as of October 15.
However, some states have decided to keep them closed in light of an increase in the number of infections.
This year’s board exams had to be postponed to mid-March. They were later canceled and the results announced on the basis of an alternative evaluation plan.
