CBSE Board Exam 2021: Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will announce the CBSE 10 class board exam dates Thursday, 12 at 6pm. The minister will be live on his Twitter account @DrRPNishank to announce the dates and other important decisions made for the CBSE board examinations.
On December 22, the Minister of Education, while interacting with teachers virtually on social media, had said that this year the board examinations will be delayed a bit due to the Coronavirus pandemic and that there is no possibility of taking the exam until February. He also confirmed that the exam will not be done online and will be done in offline mode, like every year. The minister had also said that students will have a gap of nearly a month between preliminary exams and board exams.
The practical exams will take place in the laboratories of the school, as usual. The minister is also expected to provide some clarity on conducting pre-meeting exams for 10th and 12th grade students.

CBSE has also cut 30% of its curriculum for students in classes 10 and 12. This year, the academic session started a bit late due to the pandemic. Classes were held online in the middle of closing. Students in class 9 and up were allowed to visit the school voluntarily, with the written consent of their parents, effective September 21.
Candidates can check CBSE 10, 12 revised sample papers for all subjects on the CBSE official website- cbse.nic.in.
In the year 2020, around 12 lakh students had appeared for the 12th CBSE class board exam and 18 lakh students took the 10th CBSE exam. However, some items were canceled due to the Covid-19 outbreak in March. The students were evaluated on the basis of a new evaluation scheme. The result of the 2020 CBSE Board was declared in the month of July.
