The Bharatiya Janata Get together (BJP) received each Rajya Sabha seats in Gujarat on Monday. One of many seats was crammed by the late chief of Congress, Ahmed Patel.
With two fictitious candidates withdrawing their nominations, BJP candidates Ram Mokariya and Dinesh Anavadiya have been elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha of Gujarat.
In response to returning officer CB Pandya, two fictitious BJP candidates, Rajnikant Patel and Kirit Solanki, withdrew their nominations on Saturday.
The by-elections had been necessitated by the disappearance of Congressional chief Ahmed Patel and BJP chief Abhay Bhardwaj final 12 months.
