BJP invited me to join, claims Mulayam’s brother Shivpal Yadav
Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party Lohia (PSPL) Chairman Shivpal Singh Yadav has said that the BJP had invited him to join the party when he got into a fight with his nephew and Samajwadi Party Chairman Akhilesh Yadav.
“However, I thought it better to form my own party rather than join the BJP,” he told reporters on Monday. He said that he felt it was the right decision to form his own party even though some people still refer to him as BJP’s ‘B’ team.
“The current state of the BJP is known to all. The ruling party faces opposition from all quarters and has proven to be a failure on all fronts,” he said.
Responding to a question, Shivpal Singh Yadav said that everyone has seen the result of the SP-BSP alliance in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. “Now we will see the result of the BJP-BSP alliance,” he added.
The PSPL leader said that everyone knows the nature and behavior of the supreme Mayawati of the Bahujan Samaj Party.
“He insulted Netaji (Mulayam Singh Yadav), although he is still the most acceptable leader in all parties. If the BSP MLA are separating from the party, Mayawati must introspect what has gone wrong with his party and its policies,” he said. .
