Sundar, a popular Tamil actress, who was with DMK before joining the national party in 2014, sent her resignation letter to the top leader of Congress, Sonia Gandhi.
“Few elements settled at higher levels within the party, people who have no connection with the reality of the field or public recognition are dictating terms and people like me who wanted to work for the party with sincerity are being pressured and repressed,” he said.
